The issue lies in the location of blank zones, without any targets there, and securing of 82 survey pits on a very disturbed area from a magnetic point of view (ballast, ferrous waste, etc.).

A magnetic survey with a drone allows the measuring of at least 10 ha a day on a very steep terrain. In the first instance, a complete easement visualising through raw cartography is possible, but is not sufficient for precisely locating the UXOs.

The Magsalia expert inversion system produces 3D tomographic pictures from the collected magnetic data. The interpretation of these pictures provides a classification of magnetic anomalies.

The survey lasted 2 days and was followed by a quick extrication of the magnetic anomalies. 24 anomalies have been pegged on the field.
